Culture: Delegates from Ten Countries at CUBADISCO'2003.
Havana.- The 2003 International Fair CUBADISCO'2003, scheduled for this month in Cuba, will be attended by delegates from over ten countries.
According to sources from the organizing committee, guests from Canada, Brazil,
Colombia, Spain and the United States among other countries will
participate in the fair.
The meeting, to be held at Havana's PABEXPO exhibition hall, will be dedicated
to German discography and art, and the music industry.
Among the world-renowned personalities that will participate in CUBADISCO'2003
are the pianist Ursula Oppens and the symphonic orchestra conductor Bernard
Rubinstein, from the United States; the Spanish guitarist Serranito, and the
German pianist Marcus Kretzer.
Within the framework of CUBADISCO'2003, the 1st International Symposium "Music
Industry in the 21st Century" will be held, with the participation of prestigious
researchers and critics from all over the world.
Other activities during CUBADISCO'2003 will be jazz and classic music concerts,
as well as rap, rock, trova and salsa recitals, among other musical genres.
